The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you are looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that's priced in the middle. It offers a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to tackle dust and dry oats on carpets with medium piles and pet hair on hard flooring. It does not use LIDAR however, like cheaper models do to locate your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the top-rated robots. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, including an area for dirt that is integrated into the base of charging. This robot can recognize your habits for cleaning and suggest automatic schedules to provide you with a truly hands-free cleaning experience.

It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once the system is setup you can begin the automatic cleaning with a single button press. You can choose a general clean that focuses on the removal of larger pieces of debris like rice and cereal. Or you can choose two mappings to ensure that your home is cleaned thoroughly.

This robot vacuum is effective on floors that are unfinished and carpet with a low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as other models do and can remove pet hair without difficulty. It does have a hard time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot promises it will get better in the future with new models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that concentrates on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which will allow it to hug walls and furniture. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are common however we found it only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has an advanced filtering system that stops microscopic dust particles and allergens from recirculating throughout your home. It's a nice claim but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to store the arrangement of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, such as staircases and other barriers, and to clean up your entire house in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundaries so that the robot can determine the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that combines mopping and best robot vacuum mop vacuuming. Its vac settings are just as effective as those on higher-end models, and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a more impressive job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only drawback is that it doesn't have an additional rubber brush to allow to provide more thorough cleaning, but that's an acceptable cost to pay for if you are looking for one of the top robots on the market. The dust tank of the robo-vac is larger than its competitors. Filling it up takes only two or three cycles even when you have maximum dirt.

As for the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes that are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones create very little noise, which allows you to work or watch television without interruption. It will gently bump into furniture or walls and move on if it comes across one.

What sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost autonomously with very little need for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and can automatically transfer trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is not right, such as low water levels or a canceled vacuuming session due to a full bin.

You can also combine or create actual rooms in order to alter the way Q Revo treats your home. That's a handy feature for those who have multiple areas of the home with different flooring materials or if there's a lot of clutter that needs to be cleaned out frequently, such as clothes, toys, and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, taking dirt from carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a high-end robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum that has powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, as well as the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough stains. It also has an auto-cleaning station that automatically washes and cleans the mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that is able to better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture or other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model is sleeker and more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best Robot vacuum mop known for its Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet in height and depth and weighs almost four pounds--the robot itself and its base are less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1, as it charges faster and can handle a full cleaning of about 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a larger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that is functional even if you are not at home. It also has a smart routing function that lets it clean specific areas or rooms of your home, instead of following a predetermined path.

The Omni X2 Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested because of its rotating mop pads that remove tough stains and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding as well and it enhances suction when it detects carpets to ensure that it does the job well. It comes with a huge rechargeable battery that can last up to seven days. The mopping feature of the robot is also powerful.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end model that comes with a variety of convenience features not often found on robots of this price. It has the ability to create precise floor maps, recognize different types of flooring, and it's one of the few that can automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These features are nice however they can place the L10s in the class of luxury. This could mean it's more expensive than homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is tall and slim and has a white-colored finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which helps protect furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage while moving through the house. In the pane in the front is an additional navigation technology with sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button that acts as an on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, and pressing it again will turn off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The control panel has an oblique menu that allows you to select cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons beneath the screen will bring up the settings menu in which you can modify the way that the L10s Ultra works with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and best robot vacuum mop Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to help you map out your home. This creates a precise floor plan that helps the robot vacuum and mop with ease, without getting stuck in cluttered areas. The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum detect and avoid obstacles which is a great feature for households with children or pets.

The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance that clears 98.4 percent of the debris from our hardwood floor test and removing all but the most difficult juice stain. Its mops are efficient, removing 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile, and carpet tests. It was not as efficient in removing sand from our hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
